Problem 3: Route 9 Crossing

Route 9 (Washington St. in Brookline) has 4 lanes of traffic and no signal to stop that traffic between Brookline Ave. in Brookline and South Huntington Ave. in Boston. The Town of Brookline is studying the possibility of installing an on-demand walk signal to stop traffic so bicyclists and pedestrians can get across on the greenway. Someone has installed a ramp so cyclists can ride across now between cars.
