| In April 2000, we visited the neighborhood in Portland, Oregon, where Beverly Cleary's Ramona books are set. There is a park there, with life-size bronze statues of Ramona, Henry Huggins, and Ribsy, his dog. These pictures were kindly taken by Doug's college friend Mike Butts, because we forgot our camera.
