    Cambridge Frostbite Ride
Saturday, March 1, noon, Cambridge Common
The ride will start at Cambridge Common, last about 30-40 minutes and finish at Cambridge City Hall for the BICYCLISTS' PROCLAMATION and HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY.
Here is some context that you may already know: Cambridge has made progress toward becoming a bicycle-centered community over the past decade but there is still a long way to go. The interests of motor vehicle drivers still trump those of bicyclists. A Global Climate Change committee of the City of Cambridge is developing a comprehensive plan to support bike-friendly planning and policy. The outcome is uncertain, so we want to provide public support to make it a reality.
To this end, we will ride on March 1st down Mass Ave. We expect this to jumpstart the 2003 bike-friendly season.
