Mystic River Watershed Earth Day Ride
1:00 pm, Sunday, April 19, 2009

Celebrate Earth Day by esploring Alewife Brook and the Mystic River by Bike. The ride begins at 1:00 pm at the Alewife Reservation kiosk at the Alewife MBTA Red Line station on Cambridge, follows the Fitchburg Cutoff Bikepath to Belmont, and crosses to Arlington to take the Minuteman Commuter Bikeway back to Alewife Brook. We'll then follow Alewife Brook and the Mystic River on the route of future paths to Medford Square, returning to the start on streets and paths across Medford, Somerville, and Cambridge for a ride a bit under 10 miles.

This ride is sponsored by MassBike's MetroBoston chapter.
