Everyone interested in exploring the edges of Boston is invited to join me on Sunday, September 9, starting at 10:00 am at the summit of Bellevue Hill, the highest hill in Boston. We'll ride down to the Mother Brook, down the Neponset River, along the Harbor, and up the Charles River to the Mother Brook and back to the start again, following many of my favorite bikepaths as well as the routes of future paths. The ride will loop back to the start, and we will adjourn to my house, a half-mile down the hill, for cake and ice cream. Let me know if you are interested in coming via email to email@example.com. This will be a fun ride; we'll stay together, pretty much following the route on the maps below. We'll mostly stay on pavement, but sometimes it gets pretty rugged; I'll be riding my commuting bike with front shocks and a shock-absorbing seat post. If you feel so moved, contributions to MassBike are welcome. In case of heavy rain, I'll probably try again the following weekend.
