 :Coast-to-Coast Bike Tour
DESCRIPTION
 :The Town of Orleans will be celebrating its 4th annual Coast-to-Coast Bike Tour on Saturday\, May 15th\, at 10:00 AM\, kicking off Mass Bike Week.  This event is co-sponsored by the Town of Orleans Bikeways Committee and the Orleans Police Department.  The five-mile escorted ride from Skaket Beach on Cape Cod Bay\, through the town\, to Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean focuses on safe cycling for all ages and biking abilities.  At the finish area at Nauset Beach parking lot there will be refreshments\, a rodeo sponsored and carried out by Orleans Police\, and a raffle with donations from local businesses.

 :Milton Bike Day
DESCRIPTION
 :Public ride beginning at 7:00 AM at Town Hall Gazebo and going 8 miles into the Blue Hills Reservation and returning to Cunningham Park.  Registration fee of $20 ($30 with t-shirt).  All participants to receive bicycle socks.
 A public race will take place at 10:00 AM, racers will compete on the official racecourse and compete for 30 minutes.  Entry fee of $20 ($30 for t-shirt) plus a one-day racing license fee of $5.  All participants to receive bicycle socks.\ 25 person minimum field size - race officials reserve the right to merge categories based on demand.  First three places (men and women) receive awards.\
 There will be a kids race at Noon on the fully closed portion of the course.\
 Registration will open at 10:30 for this event.  Age groups are as follows: Toddlers, 5-7, 8-9, 10-11.  Each child will receive a number plate and a medal.\
 Registration opens one hour before the start of the first race and closes ten minutes before the start of each event.  Pre-entries must be postmarked before May 7.  Late and race day entries add $5. No late fee for juniors or public racers.  One Day USCF Licenses will be available for purchase on race day.  Racers racing the 2:10 event as a second race pay $10 for that race; all other second races are $8.  Juniors can race second races for free.  Unattached fee is $5.  Limits Sr 5 (Public) is 50 racers all others 125.  Fill out a Standard Athlete Release form, make check out to Milton Rotary Club, and mail to Milton Rotary Club, PO Box 243, Milton, MA 02186.\
 Rules: All USCF rules will apply.  Helmets mandatory whenever you are on the bike.  There is no warming up on the racecourse.  Wheel Pit - Wheels in... wheels out.  Free lap in effect until 5 laps to go, except in the Sr 5 (Public) race.
 On site bike safety check and helmet sales provided by Dave's Bike
Infirmary of Milton.

 :The 2004 BikeBoston Film Festival, presented by Zipcar, will take place on Sunday May 16th at MIT Room 10-250 in Cambridge. Bicycle-themed films will screen throughout the day. Film-goers may purchase either a half-day or full-day ticket. The Festival will screen both feature length and short films of both dramatic and documentary styles.  The Festival's primary sponsor is Zipcar, the company that provides a network of on-demand, self-service rental cars to its members throughout the Boston, New York and Washington, DC metropolitan areas. Zipcar supports alternative urban transportation modes such as bicycling and mass transit. Proceeds of the festival will support Team Basis - a women's professional cycling team, and MassBike - the advocacy group that strives to make Massachusetts a better place for bicycling.
