MassBike Tour '98

Sunday through Saturday
July 19-25, 1998

A tour of the state's most scenic and historic towns, from the Minuteman Bikeway to the Berkshires.

An annual event organized by MassBike, the Massachusetts Bicycle Coalition -- whose mission is to improve bicycling conditions statewide.

YOU will

  • ride 365 miles in the six days of riding.
  • see parts of Massachusetts you've only read about, or seen on maps.
  • enjoy nightly entertainment at each of our destinations.
  • make life-long friends.
  • experience the thrill accomplishing a demanding physical challenge.
  • become a member of MassBike Tour's inaugural team!

WE will

  • carry your bedding and bags to each night's destination.
  • provide maps and marked roads for each day's journey.
  • provide all meals and water stops.
  • provide additional information and training tips once you have registered.
  • do our best to ensure that you enjoy the excitement of an inaugural ride -- MassBike Tour '98!
