East Coast Greenway
Boston Bicycle Advisory Committee
June 7, 2000

On Wednesday, June 7, Doug Mink and Bill Reyelt led the Boston Bicycle Advisory Committee from City Hall through Back Bay to the Charles River, where they added water to the bottle, and then through Charlestown to the Mystic River, where they met Steve Winslow, who added water to the bottle from that River and headed north.

The Committee was sent off by Andrea d'Amato, who is in charge of Environmental Services for the city, including Transportation and Parks.
The group stopped on the Mass. Ave. bridge to look at possible connections to the Emerald Necklace and Southwest Corridor, alternate routes of the East Coast Greenway through Boston.
Doug Mink added water from the Charles River to the East Coast Greenway's bottle, held by Steve Winslow; it has travelled up the coast from Key West.
