MARINE PARK:
A Walk on the Strand

Olmsted called this wonderful waterfront park "Pleasure Bay." Our two hour evening walking tour explores the unique history of the South Boston shoreline and the outstanding design of Olmsted's promenade park.

Meet at Kelly's Landing, intersection of William J. Day Boulevard and Farragut Road, South Boston.

WORLD'S END

Although Olmsted's design for a subdivision at World's End was never fully executed, his subtle sketches can still be seen on the land. Our two hour walk explores the history and nature of this magnificent Trustees of Reservations property.

JAMAICA POND:
Of Ponds & Plans

FRANKLIN PARK:
Country in the City

Discover Olmsted's vision for this "Country Park" on our two hour walk through the landscapes of Scarboro Pond, Schoolmaster Hill, and the Country Park Meadow. Meet at the Forest Hills Entrance to Franklin Park, corner of Forest Hills Avenue and the Arborway, Jamaica Plain.

THE ARNOLD ARBORETUM:
The Plant Explorers

Scientists and horticulturists from the Arboretum have introduced to the world such wonders as the dove tree and the dawn redwood. Learn about the amazing adventures and discoveries of the Arboretum’s plant explorers during our 90 minute walk.
